i do not like that cliche things are so true, and that those little quips we hear all the time are so true, too...not sure if they're technically cliche or not...but the one i'm stuck on is, 'when one door closes another opens'...it seems so true to me right now...i like it, but it's so cliche...

i did not get good sleep at all...i tried to get to sleep at five in the am, two hours later i was still awake...i tried again at 730 and finally it worked...but then at around eight or nine, Caleb decided to bang something metal on the driveway outside my window...a couple hours later, some guys came to work on our yard and rang the doorbell twice, setting off the dog alarm...a few hours later, it was time for work...FUCK ME!!

but the work day wasn't too bad, went by fast...was relatively slow...the professor i'm helping do research brought by what i'm supposed to transcribe...and MONEY!!  that was nice...

i'm pretty sure i'll be a manager soon...a co-manager at that...i thought it was just going to be a small little 'you're a manager when all else fails' manager...but no, and the pay is about twice as much as what i make now...so my manager told me to go ahead and apply online and when he gets back, i'll go ahead and talk to his manager about it...pretty sweet if you ask me! 

oh!  i checked out a book today by Paulo Coelho called "The Witch of Portobello"...i'm so excited about this...he wrote "The Alchemist"...such a great book...it was a very easy, elementary read...but the point of the story was amazingly good...but the book i checked out, and by checked out, i mean actually checked out, like at a library....that's the beauty of working at a bookstore!  but yeah, the quote i read at the beginning really intrigued me though i can't remember it now...and because it's a hardcover book, i had to leave the leaflet cover thing at work...but yeah, i hope that made sense...

i'm just so fucking tired...i think i want some hashbrowns...mmm...that sounds so fucking good! 

i had more to blog, but my mind isn't functioning past hashbrowns and sleep right now...so i hope all is well...
