today was quite eventful to say the least...one of the girls i work with got arrested for stealing close to 10k, if not more, in a period of six months...

this really only means i'll be moving up really rather quickly...it's weird, i did not have these intentions when i started working there, i never thought i could/would be a co-manager...the pay will be worth it though, for sure...

if only i can stop being sick...i HATE this shit!  i can handle shots, piercings, tattoos, external wounds pretty much of any kind...but a damn sore throat cripples me!  i'm really pitiful when in this state...

in other news, i finished "Veronika Decides to Die" by the one and only Paulo Coelho...and once again, a very good read...i'm now on to "The Devil and Miss Prym"...questions whether people are innately good or evil...i'm sure there will be an amazing insight into that question from Mr. Coelho...

i decided to take the really over-zealous, uptight chick from work to the cell block last night...a friend of ours (he's also a fellow employee) his band was playing, so we decided to support him...it was really fucking amusing!  he came out in some lobster looking hat and wore these itty bitty aerobics shorts...he was climbing all over the place, jumping all over the place, just...all over the place!  it was fun! 

but i wanted her, the uptight chick, aka BAM nazi, to loosen up a bit...get away from work, realize there's more to life than work...so i got her a beer-nergy drink and it seemed to really calm her down...she was nervous at first though, because there's a guy, Mark, that hangs out at work all the time and he's fucking hilarious, but he was bringing up all kinds of horrible shit to try to scare her about the cell block...he even had her worrying about my intentions, saying i would prey upon her...that cracks me up...

the guy that does my hair, his band played, too...it was the first time i had seen them play...i was thoroughly impressed seeing as he's so quiet in person but can somehow manage to scream, yes, scream for about two minutes straight...that's why he's so quiet, he's saving his voice for his shows...

oh man...i need to take some medicine and just call it a night...
